- Dr. Esther Bae, OTD, is an Occupational Therapist, accessibility consultant, and makeup artist with over a decade of experience in disability inclusion. Through her consultancy, Modified Independent, she collaborates with leading beauty brands and retailers to develop products and experiences that are inclusive of people with disabilities. Esther’s work addresses the needs of the 20% of the U.S. population with disabilities, chronic conditions, and the aging demographic, who collectively represent over $645 billion in disposable income. Leveraging her knowledge in universal design, ergonomics, and assistive technology, she helps companies enhance user experience and broaden their market appeal by creating more accessible products and spaces.
