    The session will discuss the radical behavioral differences between luxury and mainstream branding. A semiotic analysis identifies luxury’s two great obsessions and discusses the resulting approaches and themes that characterize luxury brands. It defines a clear approach to building luxury brands: starting with brand world and experiences, distilled down to the packaging. A close analysis, packed with examples, explores the differences in strategy and design behavior, visual and verbal language. We zoom out and zoom in on the meaning of luxury.
